The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) is showing May 29-31st (www.backstagetheatre.org).

Museums/Galleries:

Breckenridge has 16 art galleries and museums to visit. Tom Mendelssohn has his gallery there. Most of the museums are related to either art or history, but there is also the Mountain Top children’s museum. One of the historic museums is the Barney Fort House which was built in 1880. It’s a Victorian home that has been restored to tell the story of its original owner who was a former slave. This museum is a must see and is open year round.
